DANG Gui
(Angelica Sinensis)
Also called: Chinese angelica, dong quai, tang kuei.
Source: Cool mountain woods of southern and western China.
Medicinal Uses: Menstrual cramps, menopausal symptoms, premenstrual
tension, tonic for liver and female glandular system. In China the herb is
valued as highly as ginseng.
Part used: Root.

products; common ingredient in traditional Chinese medicines.

Caution: The dried or cooked fruits and flowers are safe
