1 Energy In: Wind, Solar, Water, Pedal Power, CHP (Combined Heat and Power), Bio-fuels, Other

2 Energy Store: Batteries, Pumped water, Compressed Air, Clockwork, Other

3 Energy Use: Electronic equipment, Power tools, Mechanical Power, Lighting, Heating/Air Conditioning, Pumping, Other

Mechanical energy:
For energy use that does not require the direct input of of electricity.
Examples include; heating, water pumping, lifting, simple machinery, including pole lathes, etc.,
